Screen For Me is a social marketing and social media campaign designed to boost community participation in the national breast, bowel and cervical cancer screening programs. It uses the strength of a local community and community members, including children, grandchildren, friends, partners and parents, to have an influence on their loved ones health by asking them to Screen For Me.
The Screen For Me campaign is funded by the Victorian Government as part of the Latrobe Health Innovation Zone and managed by Gippsland Primary Health Network. The project works with the community and local health providers to help increase participation in screening for preventable cancers.
There are three national screening programs being targeted:
- Breastscreen – Women 50-74
- Bowel Screening – Men and women 50-74
- Cervical Screening - Women 25-74.
