Supportive care in cancer refers to the domains of physical, social, information, spiritual and psychological needs. The aims of the Victorian supportive care strategic directions are to improve the supportive care outcomes for those affected by cancer, to build capacity within the supportive care workforce, to ensure resources are utilised appropriately and to ensure equity in the provision of supportive care services in Victoria to those affected by cancer.
