Summary
This report is the Department of Health and Human Services Food Safety Unit's annual account of food safety in Victoria. The report contains information on the work undertaken by the Unit in 2017, along with data on fixed, temporary and mobile food premises, Victorian food safety surveillance, mandatory reporting of food related illness, injury or death, food recalls, notifiable microorganisms in food, temporary closures, suspensions and revoked registrations of food businesses and convictions under the Act.
