The fifth annual STIR report covers the period 1 July 2017 to 30 June 2018.
This year includes reports on two new categories: delayed serologic and transfusion-associated dyspnoea. Reporting for these categories commenced from 1 July 2017 as requested by the National Blood Authority (NBA).
This annual report provides information from 134 validated investigations, reported by 34 health services from Victoria, Tasmania, Australian Capital Territory and Northern Territory
