Health Services Model annual reporting guidelines 2016-17
The Health Services Model annual reporting guidelines 2016-17 provide information to Victorian health services about their obligations regarding annual reports.
The guidelines have been prepared to meet the requirements of:
- the Financial Management Act 1994 (the Act)
- Section 4.2 of the Standing Directions of the Minister for Finance under the Act
- Financial Reporting Directions and the National Health Reform Agreement.
The guidelines illustrate minimum disclosure requirements. If additional disclosures aid readers in gaining a better understanding of the service provider, then these should be included in the annual report in consultation with your Auditor-General's agent. Changes to the 2016-17 guidelines from the version released in 2015-16 have been highlighted in yellow, for easier identification.
