2010 Annual forum
The Emergency Care Clinical Network held a forum to bring together emergency care clinicians, academics, other interested clinicians and key stakeholders to hear and discuss current evidence and best practice in emergency care.
The second forum focused on Improving the assessment of transient ischaemic attack was a collaboration between the Emergency Care Clinical Network, the Cardiac Clinical Network and the Stroke Clinical Network. The forum was held on the 16 February 2010 in Melbourne and 115 clinicians attended from metropolitan, regional and rural emergency departments.
2010 Evidence-based quality improvement project
This is an annual nine month quality improvement cycle in enhancing the use of evidence-based care to reduce variation in practice and improve consistency of emergency care. This year 21 emergency departments focused on the topic of Improving assessment of transient ischaemic attack and completed these projects
