Collecting records of mental health service contacts on the Client Management Interface/Operational Data Store (CMI/ODS) measures services received from the consumer’s perspective.

These contacts are a subset of all contacts recorded on CMI/ODS.

There are four types of service contact:

  • registered client contact
  • unregistered client contact
  • community contact
  • case contact.

There are complex business rules around how to record service contacts, depending on the nature of the contact and whether the client is present.
