Developing a strategy for the consumer workforce in Victoria

A draft strategy has been developed by the Consumer Workforce Development Group,  in consultation with participants at  the VMIAC workforce conference in 2017, and is now ready for further input from consumer workers employed in the Victorian mental health sector. 

The strategy will prioritise actions to support the development of the consumer workforce. Consumer workers are invited to provide input into the draft strategy by reviewing and responding to the Consumer Workforce Strategy Consultation Paper. Feedback needs to be provided via email to: livedexperienceworkforce@dhhs.vic.gov.au by 16 March 2018. *Please note: the deadline for feedback has been extended to 02 April 2018* 

Developing a strategy for the family/carer workforce in Victoria

A draft strategy has been developed by the Family/Carer Workforce Development Group, encompassing members in family/carer leadership positions from clinical and community mental health services as well as department staff. The strategy is now ready for further input from family/carer lived experience workers employed in the Victorian mental health sector. 

Family/carer lived experience workers are invited to provide input into the draft strategy by reviewing and responding to the family/carer Workforce Strategy Consultation Paper.
