Each year, the Community Health Program provides over one million hours of allied health, counselling and nursing services to the Victorian community, including services to particular groups including children, vulnerable pregnant women, refugee and asylum seekers and those with chronic disease.

The Community Health Program is funded by the Victorian Government.

Community health services deliver the Community Health Program through strong community connections and flexible models of care that are responsive to people's needs. The program operates from a social model of health that acknowledges the social, environmental and economic factors that affect health, as well as the biological and medical factors.
