A suite of communication resources have been developed by the Department of Health and Human Services to help councils, health services and other government agencies to raise awareness about the impact of extreme heat on human health. These resources are available on the Better Health Channel.
The community resources can be downloaded below. The information is available in a range of formats with a number of resources translated into community languages - these are available from the Health Translations website.
You can request printed copies of the community resources - place an order via the online order form.
For assistance or urgent orders, please contact Emergency Management during business hours on extreme.weather@dhhs.vic.gov.au.
