The Victorian Paediatric Orthopaedic Network (VPON) promotes optimal health outcomes for children, adolescents and young adults with paediatric orthopaedic conditions.

It provides leadership and builds collaborative partnerships among service providers.

VPON’s aims

VPON aims to foster collaboration among service providers to support the coordination and delivery of quality paediatric orthopaedic care in Victoria.

Clinical leadership is provided through the four Victorian specialist paediatric orthopaedic providers at:

  • Barwon Health
  • Monash Children’s at Southern Health
  • The Royal Children’s Hospital
  • Western Health.

Through the leadership and expertise of clinical professionals at the four specialist providers, VPON also aims to provide and promote high-quality education and research in paediatric orthopaedics.

Statewide advisory group

A multidisciplinary advisory group comprising of representatives from paediatric orthopaedic providers meets regularly to guide the work of the network.
